With almost 20 years of experience in providing remote outsourcing services in ASIC design and verification, including the development of EDA tools, Silicon Service is one of the few Romanian registered companies that provide customers with external solutions for their R&D activities.

Silicon Service is also known for its special role played in the community given its contribution to the training of the first generation of ASIC design and verification engineers in Romania. Over the years, it has trained more thaecialists in full flow analog and digital IC design, ASIC design verification, EDA SW design and programming, as well as in embedded systems.

 

POSITION DETAILS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in Software Engineering focused instead of product management;

• Experience in C++, Java or .NET architecture and programming in a hands-on, development-intensive individual contributor role;

• Design and implement software solutions;

• Perform code reviews and pair programming;

• Knowledge in architecture, design patterns, OOP;

• Experienced in C, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, SQL Server.

This position requires:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science;

• Experience in programming in C for microcontrollers;

• Experienced developing and debugging multithreaded and/or multi-process code;

• Flexible, can-do approach;

• Cloud computing integration— Amazon Web Services, or private cloud environments;

• Operating systems: Linux, MacOS X, Windows Server;

• Experienced in developing high dependability software in C/C

• Analytical thinking;

• Flexibility (taking new information / changed circumstances into account and perceiving whole understanding of a problem or situation accordingly);

• Good communication skills, the capacity to work within a team;

• Individual responsibility and a strong desire for personal achievements;

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field;

• Scripting / programming knowledge;

• Experience in working with test case management tools / bug tracking tools;

• Good analytical skills / problem solver;

• Good command of written/spoken English;

• Attention to details;

• Programming language: C/C++, Java.
