Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for its client, a multinational company that activates in Automotive Industry:

WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor degree - preferred technical or commercial background
  • At least 2 years in warehouse environment - preferred within a multinational company
  • Process management skills (analysis and synthesis), problem solving, initiative and effective relationship with colleagues in various areas
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation, knowledge of OSH policies, practices and procedures in accordance with legal requirements aligned to management standards
  • Great communication skills and teamwork, personal initiative and result orientation
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP
Job Description
  • Planning, organizing and controlling general warehousing operations
  • Continuously investigate cost-cutting opportunities to support business plan goals, delivering optimal quality standards and services.
  • Managing stock control: Receiving, storing, recovering and delivering products on time, on your own responsibility; loading and transporting products; document registration and data entry into the system
Main Responsibilities
  • Constant planning of all the resources and activities of the warehouse in connection with the company's objectives and the established goals
  • Plan the development of the warehouse staff through in-house / at work training
  • Supervises package movements through approved software (CHEP, OPAL, DHL etc...), in relation to Customer Requirements
  • Supervises shipments according to customer default routes
  • Tracking and controlling absences and daily overtime
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements and take responsibility for the security of people, buildings and stocks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and the surrounding area
  • Providing inventory report, delivery / receipt status report, stock report, product age report, consumer report, report on workforce to the Logistics Manager
  • ERP tracking along with current activities
  • Implementing the principle of cost reduction in all aspects of transactions and activities in the warehouse.
  • Promoting constant motivation among staff, striving for efficient and productive warehouse management
