Technical Writer

Position Overview Statement

Technical Writer works closely with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Product and Project Management, providing outputs on product documentation or reviewing other related documents.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides and instruction manuals

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements

Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples

Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

Explain technical ideas in simple language and write clear and concise user manuals, policies, procedures, charts, graphs, or forms according to tasks

Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

Provide and manage updates and revisions to technical literature as necessary

Edit publications: adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling

Submit copies to Team Lead for feedback

Report to the Team Lead

Requirements

Proven work experience as Recruiter;

Hands-on experience with various interview formats;

Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles

Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation;

BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree.
