C++ developer

Position Summary

Adobe Romania is looking for a highly-motivated and skilled Engineer for Adobe Xd ( ). In this role, you will work with a team of talented software developers and quality engineers to make Adobe XD a key piece of Adobe’s Creative Cloud ecosystem. You should have extensive experience, very solid knowledge of developing for desktop platforms (Windows 10/OSX). You will be responsible for researching technologies for the project, as well as designing and implementing new functionalities. You will work in a medium-large sized team and report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and own multiple features.
• Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs.
• Design & implement features, APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus.
• Identify internal/outside technologies and when/how to use them.
• Mentor junior team members by providing his knowledge and expertise.
• Collaborate with quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Provide status and feedback to management.
  
  

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Very strong C++ skills.
• Extensive experience in building desktop applications, especially on Windows.
• Outstanding knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Some knowledge of web-related technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, etc.).
