We are looking for our next colleague to join the Corporate Affairs team as Sustainable Development Manager.

 

In this role, you will have the chance to:

 

  • Together with Corporate Affairs management, build the local Sustainable Development (SD) strategic plan, drawing on the new Asahi SD global priorities and deploy relevant local initiatives.
  • Manage the 2019 agenda on responsible alcohol consumption projects, mainly Don’t Drink and Drive / No Underage Drinking / Foetal alcohol spectrum disorder awareness, but also other initiatives relevant for the local context, to support credible, relevant and contextualized reputation and build specific stakeholders’ and employees’ engagement and commitment.
  • Act as a key point-of-contact and internal consultant for the non-financial reporting of the company alongside internationally agreed standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders on SD issues and ensure their support and participation in the above mentioned programs/initiatives in a way which enhances company reputation and contributes to the achievement of business goals and key company SD priorities.
  • Identify external SD initiatives with potential to enhance corporate reputation and drive further stakeholders engagement, upon CA management approval, manages partnerships, sponsorships and community involvement.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the company Alcohol Policy within the organization.
  • Participate in developing the internal digital communication plans specific to www.desprealcool.ro as part of the SD strategy.
  • Contribute to the process for selection, management, development and evaluation of Corporate agencies (e.g. Corporate PR agency, Digital agency).
  • Plan, implement, review and report on budget with due consideration of spend effectiveness.
  • Bring deas and practices in the company by keeping yourself updated with latest internal and external developments in terms of SD practices.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Between 3-5 years’ experience in Sustainable Development (CSR + CSI) - strategic communication, public relations with SD responsibilities, or other related field would be a plus.
  • Proven practice of non-financial reporting using international standards would be a plus
  • Proven track record of capacity to interact with various stakeholders, including high-level central and local authorities
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Action oriented
  • Well organized, with good project management skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Fluent English
