Inviting applications for the role of Spot Buyer: 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Conduct PR based Negotiations with Suppliers and deliver Hard / Soft Savings through Price & Payment Terms improvements
  
• Support PO Compliance to Contracts on Pricing, Payment Terms & Key Contract Clauses
  
• Analyze Historical Spend Data for identification of savings opportunities
  
• Support Global Category Managers for Sourcing Projects Users on Procurement Processes, Order Status etc.,
  
• Support Category Support teams on Procurement Transformation Initiatives
  
• Identify Price and Cost Savings Opportunities
  
• Support improvement of Process Efficiencies
  
• Help to drive Six Sigma / Lean projects for Continuous Improvements in Procurement / Sourcing processes

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Science / Commerce

Essential Skills / Competencies

• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  
• Customer Service Skills – Telephone / Email
  
•  Intermediate Knowledge of MS Office Applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  
• Basic Awareness of Sourcing & Procurement Operations
  
• Good Analytical Skills
  
• Basic Negotiation Skills
  
• Basic understanding of Indirect Spend Categories like IT/Telecom, Facilities, MRO
  
• Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean Concepts
  
• Exposure to interaction with Global Suppliers
  
• Desirable Skills / Competencies
  
• Knowledge of Supplier & Stakeholder Management
  
• Knowledge of SAP / Oracle / Other Legacy ERP Applications
