Senior Program Manager - Applications

As a Program Manager Applications, you are responsible for executing our nearshore strategy, together with the Director Nearshore of the Group. You will work together with the different peers in the nearshore delivery centers and the local delivery organizations where our customers are located.

You report to the Director Nearshore of the Group. You are his ‘right hand’ for all Applications Topics and you guarantee the continuity of the management of our nearshore delivery centers.

• You contribute to the strategy and the design of our Nearshore Applications programs
• You define initiatives to increase the quantity, the quality and the maturity of our Nearshore Delivery Centers. These initiatives are translated to improvement programs
• You plan and manage the defined programs, and proactively monitor progress, costs, risks and quality
• You identify ‘nearshore issues and challenges’ on which decisions need to be taken or policies need to be created, you prepare these issues including the organizational and process consequences
• You are responsible for the customer satisfaction and experience of our clients regarding Nearshore Services
• You are responsible for increasing the engagement of our local engineers so the retention is optimal

• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Software Development and Business Applications and you’re familiar with nearshored Applications services
• 3-5 years’ experience in a management positions (competence center management, people management, quality programs, efficiency programs) is a plus.
• You are process driven, pro-active and report efficiently and effectively
• Master Degree
• You show entrepreneurship and leadership. You go on where others would stop
• You cherish fun as part of your work
• You are willing to travel on a structural basis meaning that at least half of the time you will be in the countries where Cegeka is present.
