Senior Compensation & Benefits / Rewards Consultant

Our client is looking for a Senior Comp & Ben / Rewards Consultant to service the Romanian market.

On a daily basis this means offering clients reliable benchmark data to determine their competitive position in the labor market, review & design reward strategies and support workforce planning. All based on our own methodology, surveys and top notch tools. Of course talent moves across boundaries and we advise and support our clients with these international transfers on policy level, high quality tools and transparent data.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Consultant who knows how to connect international HR knowledge and local business acumen to Mercer’s wide range of products and services.

In order to drive growth, we require a Senior Consultant with relevant experience and skills in Business Development and Client Management areas, while knowing details of Compensation & Benefits, Reward Strategies and Mobility dynamics from a broader HR perspective.

Description

Client relationship management with responsibility for overall client servicing, client relationship development and project based deliveries. You will serve as primary client contact and will be responsible for building strong relationships in order to drive our business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Be a “Trusted Adviser” for our existing client portfolio and spot up cross sell opportunities
  • Provide proactive day-to-day client service; Manage ad-hoc client requests including problem-solving on administrative and operations issues
  • Open & proactive relationship with other Mercer Marsh Benefits areas of business, to support and achieve cross-sell, proposition development and high quality client service
  • Build internal and external network of key people to support brand awareness and business growth
  • Lead on client proposition development, jointly work with team members and other Mercer Marsh Benefits consultants / offices around the World
  • Delivery of various consultancy projects within Compensation & Benefits area, awarded by clients, by jointly working with peer colleagues
  • Actively follow up leads/requests and maintain high service standards in cooperation with various internal service support teams
  • Contribute to client events planning, from design to providing content and act as event speaker, when the case
  • Ensure that all regulatory, compliance and transparency requirements are met and comply with all internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • University graduate
  • + 5 years proven experience in Human Resources / Rewards / Compensation & Benefits or in Human Resources Consultancy
  • Understanding of Human Resources matters, proven expertise in project based deliverers
  • Excellent language skills (written and verbal) fluent in Romanian and English
  • Strategic thinking

  • Strong client focus approach and business drive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
