Senior C++ developer, First Mile, Bucharest

The First Mile Bucharest engineering team is seeking an experienced engineer to help develop the Adobe Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP) as well as to leverage it to create unique experiences for Creative Cloud clients.

Our initiative will lead to rapid success for new users of Adobe Creative Cloud products. More specifically, the First Mile Engineering team will work on both the infrastructure on which new user features will be deployed, as well as on productizing Adobe Sensei (Machine Learning) atomic actions which will help these new customers get onboarded faster with our products. Our goals will revolve around increasing conversion, retention, and satisfaction for users who discovered Adobe Creative Cloud recently.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for helping us set the technical direction, making architectural decisions, and implementing complex systems that drive the desired user experience. You will always drive for high product and engineering quality in our work.
• You will work closely with teams across Adobe, in different geographies. The technology you produce will have visibility at the highest levels of the company and materially affect the positive impact products have on our customers.
  
  

Requirements

• You have implemented major parts of a product, solving complex problems.
• Professional experience developing applications on multiple platforms (e.g. Web, desktop, mobile).
• Experience in modern C++ (e.g., C++11, C++14), including multi-threaded code.
• Familiarity with JavaScript (we use it for our build tools)
• Deep knowledge of the native SDKs on MacOS, iOS or UWP.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Experience in different development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Kanban) and ability to balance the advantages of each approach in practice.
• Good command of data structures and algorithms.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Practical experience developing on contemporary web frameworks such as React or multi-platform technologies like React Native or NativeScript.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
