Key Responsibilities

This role will provide security consulting services, focusing on specific security program/operations advancement.

This Consultant Will Play An Integral Part In The Development And Implementation Support Of The Incident Response And Threat Management Frameworks In The Customer Ecosystem, Covering The Following
  • Enhance the current Incident Management and Threat Management processes.
  • Support the integration of the Incident Management and Threat Management processes with customer Security Risk Management processes.
  • Support the creation, governance and maintenance of a Threat Management Framework that enhances the customer Monitoring Use Case Management and Threat Intelligence.
  • Support the implementation of the current Incident Management and Threat Management processes.
  • Support the creation and implementation of the playbooks and SOPs applicable for customer monitoring, Threat Intelligence and Incident Management.
  • Support the definition and implementation of the customer Quality Assurance process for the Threat Management department.
  • Support the KPI development for the customer Threat Management department.

Essential Requirements
  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience with network technologies (CCNA, JNCIA certification are desirable)
  • Experience around SIEM processes, monitoring & collecting, escalation strategies, data source normalization, event reduction, threshold tuning, alert triggers, threat Intelligence, threat modeling, triage
  • Experience with reviewing raw log files, data correlation, and analysis (i.e. firewall, network flow, intrusion detection systems, system logs)
  • Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management

Desirable Requirements
  • Industry certification from vendors: ISC2, GIAC, EC-Council, Cisco, Juniper, CompTIA, ITIL, UNIX, Microsoft, Oracle, etc
  • Previous experience in adjacent areas such as, Security Operations Center, Network Operations Center, System Administrator, Platform/Tool Support Engineer, IT Helpdesk support
  • Experience in working with SABSA and VERIS framework”, “Knowledge of TI data feeds formats and mechanisms of collecting, analyzing, producing and sharing TI
