What does the job entail?

As Security & Privacy Officer within Cegeka Romania, you are responsible for information security, privacy, business continuity and compliance. In this role, you report to the Security & Privacy Manager of the Cegeka Group. As a member of the Security & Privacy Office team, you take care of the implementation and progress monitoring and the continuous improvement of information security and privacy within Cegeka.

• You define, implement and maintain security measures in line with Cegeka's strategic security & privacy objectives;
• You contribute to the quality of our services by advising local management and customer teams on information security and privacy;
• You facilitate, provide expertise and monitor improvement projects concerning information security and privacy within your local entity;
• You take the initiative to improve employees' awareness of information security and privacy;
• You participate in and coordinate (security) audit activities to check whether the applicable security measures are sufficiently effective and correctly applied. You ensure that any associated certifications such as ISand ISAE3000 are retained;
• You actively participate and provide expertise in improvement projects concerning information security, privacy, business continuity or compliance within the Cegeka Group;
• You closely monitor security and privacy incidents within your local entity and work with the Security Operations Center to define sustainable improvement actions;
  
  

Who are we looking for?

• Your passion is implementing information security and privacy in an organization and this is also reflected in your work experience;

• Experience with information security standards, more specifically the ISand IStandards is an asset
• Privacy training (preferably CIPP/e certified)
• You have a good knowledge of business processes as well as the necessary affinity with IT. You can form a bridge between the two and explain concepts to both the business and a technical audience in an understandable way;
• You are proactive, someone who spontaneously identifies possible areas for improvement and formulates proposals for improvement;
• You feel like a fish in the water within Cegeka's result-oriented, no-nonsense approach.
• You think along with the (internal) client and have good communication skills in English.
• You can work independently, you are a flexible and stress-resistant team player.
