QE Developer (Adobe XD)

Position Summary

Adobe Romania is looking for a highly-motivated and skilled QE Developer for Adobe XD (https://xd.adobe.com). In this role, you will work with a team of talented software developers and quality engineers to make Adobe XD a key piece of Adobe’s Creative Cloud ecosystem. You should have extensive experience in automation testing for desktop application (Win10/OSX), as well as some familiarity with scalable web architectures and patterns for internet-scale applications and services. You will work on testing desktop applications, scalable web architectures, distributed systems, as well as on the integration of heterogeneous complex systems. Your responsibilities will include developing test frameworks for core code libraries, automation scripting and end to end testing. You will work in a small team and report directly to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and review production code written by other team members.
• Write complex API level tests.
• Use, understand, and write new automated tests for owned areas.
• Perform in-depth product testing such as writing and executing test scripts, and writing test specifications from product specifications with moderate supervision.
• Achieve product area expertise: answer questions, review features, etc.
• Convey information clearly and effectively within bug reports and documentation.
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate with B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of one operating system and functional in at least one other.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Java or .Net.
• Strong fundamental computer science skills (data structures, OOP, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge and experience with JavaScript.
• Basic experience with web-related technologies (HTML, Ajax, CSS).
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications.
• Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills, some experience troubleshooting.
• Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to understand complex technical information. Object oriented design principles, some knowledge of algorithms and data structures, logical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior time management skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
