Responsibilities
Assist the Category / Product Managers within the buying process;
Select and develop profitable new ranges;
Research and identify potential suppliers, offer support in defining the commercial clauses for the suppliers;
Assist the negotiating the acquisition prices and extra budgets and specific actions
Organizing shipments in coordination with the logistics team;
Able to deliver relevant reports and cut through the information / detail in order to get to the real issue;
Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activity, to help identify new opportunities as well as changes to our existing offering.
Contract management: corresponding with suppliers, getting appropriate signatures, filling of contracts, monitoring of contracting stages;
Checking and following-up with suppliers deviations for goods, stock updates and shipments;
Planning selling campaigns together with the Demand Planner;
Following all the campaigns from the planning assigned to the buyer;
Analyzing commercial data and developing strategies together with the Category / Product Managers.
