The Challenge

First step towards process automation journey is to create centralized teams responsible to build, run and

maintain automated processes. An ICT Architecture Team and an Automation "MAKE " CoE, serving UniCredit Group, will enable automation industrialized approach, building a strong framework to increase and scale up process automations. Key success factor is to combine together process analysis and automation competencies within the Automation CoE (Process & Automation Engineers).


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Identify automation opportunities on business processes

  • Manage automation assessment to evaluate eligibility for automation

  • Conduct detailed process analysis, identifying process optimization and automation (process reengineering)

  • Definitions on steps to be automatized

  • Business requirements gathering

  • Establishing metrics to measure as-is and to-be process including the performance of the process automations

  • Benefits certification and process consolidation


Qualification and competencies:

  • Strong analytical mind, problem solving and reengineering competencies
  • Strong process mapping background
  • Good understanding of the automation software capabilities used for automation
  • Basic knowledge of automation limits and constraints
  • Lean Six Sigma training and continuous improvement
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Knowledge of UniCredit Group framework is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English and work experience in a global/multicultural environment
