IQVIA has an exciting opening for a Key Account Manager to expand our Sales team based in Bucharest!


The  Key Account Manager will join our Sales Team and be responsible to develop and maintain the relationship with assigned accounts, to have a deep and wide knowledge of the assigned accounts and to be able to understand their priorities and needs, turning them into business opportunities.


Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate the overall client account planning and sales activities with internal business lines (Information services, Technology, Consulting, Clinical research, Multichannel marketing, Client service and offering) and peers from other countries as well;

  • KAM is also responsible for annual and quarterly target achievement related to an assigned portfolio of Biopharma Companies accounts.

  • Develops and maintains a deep and wide knowledge of the assigned accounts and is able to understand their priorities and needs, turning them into business opportunities;

  • Anticipate clients’ needs and develop and present proposed solutions to client's complex business issues;

  • Based on long term relationship with client, act as an advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues, trends, IQVIA product and consulting capabilities;

  • Effectively manages contract renewals and subscriptions;

  • Originates and manages the development of large deals with clients in his/her portfolio and lead the assigned team providing guidance and supervision to team members;

  • Timely updates CRM platform with regard to opportunity pipeline and call plan

  • Constantly monitors client satisfaction and works with Direct manager and Client Service team to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;

  • Mentor less experienced members of sales team on selling, account management and negotiation skills.

      

Desired Qualifications and Experience :

  • Bachelor degree in Economics with strong record of academic achievement is desiderable;
  • 3+ year work experience in B2B professional services sales, Technology services, Enterprise customers, Healthcare/Pharma companies (optional)
  • Clear and demonstrable experience of winning new business from new and existing accounts and achieving revenue & customer satisfaction targets.

 

Personal & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong Negotiation and consultative selling skills
  • Proven expertise in account planning and accurate sales forecasting
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce.com)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills - strong presentation skills with Power Point and ability to create and manipulate data via Excel.
  • An ability to build strong business relationships
  • Strong commitment to achieve or exceed assigned goals
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
  • Consultative approach
