As Junior PR you shall typically offer support to both Events, CSR & Media by:
  • Administrative assignments;
  • Internal Communication tasks;
  • Draft press releases, articles, clipping reports, other reports, memos, letters or any other material indicated by the supervisor;
  • Draft PR information for Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page;
  • Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns;
  • Helping plan and execute projects from start to finish;
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to implement projects;
  • Maintain data and records;
  • Develop materials (. KV and similar);
  • He/she must pay close attention to detail, particularly in editing, and be able to multi-task;
  • Works with supervisor on CSR projects and reports;
  • Supervises the media/blogger relations tasks, follow-up progress, reporting, campaign fulfillment, etc;
  • Be able to manage/support 2-3 projects on time;
  • Very good response to tight deadlines or change of actions;
  • Be able to prepare a media & communication plan;
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/s.

Key Skills
  • English language fluency: You need to have excellent written and spoken English.
  • Copywriting skills: You need to be good on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy for both Romanian & English;
  • Presentation skills: You need to organize information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention; Must possess excellent writing, editing and communication skills; Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of products, Social Media platforms knowledge and skills as well as other tools such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign or Corel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, PR is all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic, and be able to relate to people on different levels within the company, with clients or whom he/she will regularly interact.
  • Excellent telephone manner: Be able to speak and maintain a positive, friendly and upbeat tone.
  • Time-keeping: You will often be working to tight deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of your team and internal clients, so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality and be resilient enough to handle feedback.

Qualifications

A relevant undergraduate degree such as PR, journalism, English Literature is normally expected but not essential. PR qualifications on the job can also boost your knowledge either as an alternative to a degree or at postgraduate level. Qualification/Strong knowledge in a second language, such as Greek, French or any other language, can also be useful;

Proven record of projects, copywriting materials; (portfolio).

Recommendations shall be asked for and desirable to have.
