Junior Logistics Operator

For this position we are looking for candidates that are willing to relocate to Cologne, Germany (relocation offered)

As Logistics Operator you are the heart of our business. You will be ensure the daily execution of transport orders in a predefined transportation network within a timetable at the lowest and most efficient total cost of logistics, including managing planned deviations with the stakeholders.

The job might be for you if:

• Enjoy having daily contact for all supply chain partners for any type of operational queries regarding transport execution
  
• Enjoy working closely with the costumer to maintain a good and professional working relationship in order to exceed customer expectation
  
• Deal with transport orders and liaise with the customer & all other relevant stakeholders to advise & update them of planned transports
  
• Support the execution of contingency plans & exception management
  
• Monitor and follow up & validate the actual delivery
  
• Analyze relevant data, create & update reports for root cause analyses & KPI management 
  

You will be successful in this job if:

• You have 1 year experience in transport & logistics environment

• Qualification as office clerk, import / export clerk, industrial clerk etc

• You have a general understanding of freight operations

• You have working knowledge of MS Office Tools (eg. Excel, Word, Access etc)

• You have an excellent eye for detail

• You have knowledge about Quality Management Systems (ISO documents and forms, Audits & CAPAs)

• You speak German

You are extra awesome if:

• You have experience in logistics automotive

• You have previous experience of working with Route Management Tools

• You are a Qualified Forwarding Agent (NVQ - National and International) or similar education in related field
