Java Developer job, Bucharest

Java Developer Tasks And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain functional requirements for existing Operational CRM application;
• Provide maintenance of the existing live application, by contributing to investigating and resolving incidents;
• Contribute to implementing new features required by business users;
• Work in a dynamic environment, where you can keep a cool head and follow the established course of action;
• Participate in code reviews, provide and accept constructive feedback;
• Focus on results while following established processes.
  
  

Qualification And Competencies

• Familiarity with Java 7 (servlets, web applications, N-tier architectures, web services, deployment, etc.);
• Hands-on experience with Relational Databases and SQL (Oracle Databases and PL/SQL are preferred);
• Familiarity with Java Server Faces;
• Familiarity with Design Patterns and Best Practices;
• Experience with SVN (branching, merging, tracking code changes);
• Experience & great skills in dealing with customers;
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written);
• A positive, “can do” attitude;
• Appreciative of the word “team”: team player who thrives when working in a team.

• Familiarity with RichFaces, Maven and/or JUnit;
• Experience in Level 3 support (processes and SLAs) and direct interaction with the customer.
