Iron Mountain Romania is looking for an enthusiastic “Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Specialist” to join Finance Team to manage and support business-planning processes, produce management information and projections, support with business cases, perform and drive continuous analysis and provide recommendations to continuous improvement of business performance as well as to optimize the cash generation of the country.

Act as a real partner working closely with the business and the Southern Europe Cluster and Regional finance team and demonstrate management skills. 


Key Accountabilities


-       Support the monthly Business Review process: prepare/review forecast for the country, analyse and prepare reporting, prepare insight for management on business trends, growth projections and efficiency increase possibilities/initiatives

-       Drive follow-up of actions and support filtering/reporting the key messages to Sr Mgt addressing priorities.

-       Perform in-depths analysis of cost variances across multiple IM sites. Understanding key drivers of storage and facility costs, service, transport and overhead applicable for different line of business.

-       Support the Local Finance team in building up an excellent business (performance) understanding

-       Work with/support the regional FP&A Manager to continuously drive accountability (‘as if the business is our own’), promote continuous business performance improvements and promote a ‘no surprise’ culture.

-       Promote developing an in-depth understanding of Country’s activities in the areas of revenue generation, cost per activity/service, productivity, capacity, capital expenditure and other resource planning.

-       Drive thorough understanding of the customer base, activity levels and components affecting the country’s growth. Prepare market analysis and analysis of associated price developments.

-       Proactively communicate and collaborate with all disciplines, identify risks and opportunities, educate the business and all the functions with appropriate communication of significant events.

-       Providing management information and analysis/make proposals to the business owners/function heads by collecting data and metrics and compiling the necessary reports.

-       Support/drive a continuous improvement of management information and adjust/adapt to the actual business needs

-       Support budgeting and the business planning process, support developing country revenue and ebitda targets. Support future growth projections and resource planning.

-       Take part in Cash flow Planning and Treasury Reporting

-       Provide financial and critical appraisal of Capex spend request, utilising business knowledge gained through the development of high quality business partnering. Preparation of NPV and ROI calculation for large capex spend and developing post implementation review processes to assess the contribution of authorised investment.

-       Promote price management of new and existing customers

-       Analyse LVA’s, evaluate sales information, determine strategic pricing options, and offer creative selling solutions to assist in closing the sales process within approved rates of return.

-       Assist in roll out of relevant new financial systems/Be a key user of all Planning Applications

-       Support M&A processes if applicable

-       Ensure an up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with Iron Mountain’s policies and procedures.

-       Promote/support strategic planning; drive sense of urgency in (over-) delivering short-term objectives.

-       Possess a good top-down overview of the business, but with a strong eye for and a natural interest in and love for detail

-       Promote a culture of best practices within the region or country organization

-       Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects assigned

Qualifications


-      Master’s degree in finance-related field.

-      Minimum 4 years’ experience at a Big 4 accountancy/audit firm and minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role  with solid understanding of accounting rules     

-      BI reporting tools (Cognos, Hyperion or any equivalent)

-      Multinational exposure/ability to work in a matrix organization 

-       A good organizer. Responds swiftly, as necessary, to requests and assists with issues. Maintains continuity in recurring responsibilities and meets deadlines.
