Financial Planning and Analysis

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Month end Close

·       Control, reporting and analysis of P&L financials during month end close

·       Provides guidance to financial analysts for MEC Process and Cadence

·       Consolidate month end close daily estimates received from financial analysts

·       Monitor variances versus system and track pending item status

·       Prepare and Report Consolidated View of Month end Close Financials upon agreeing with Sector/Industry/Region Finance Manager, including variance explanations vs forecast and budget.

Forecast

·       Control, reporting and analysis of P&L / Balance Sheet financials during monthly forecasting process

·       Provides guidance to financial analysts for Forecast Process and Cadence in line with monthly corporate requirements

·       Consolidates Forecast Analytics, Forecast on Forecast, Quarter on Quarter, Year over Year, Forecast vs Budget, Risk and Opportunities, etc., including details like revenue by offering, cost by cost stack, Days Sales Outstanding metrics

·       Monitor financial system alignment on all Forecast indicators

·       Prepare and Report consolidated Forecast Summary for Upper Management Reviews

·       Responsible for system tie-out for final Forecast at Sector/Industry/Region level.

Budget

·       Support annual budget planning for the Sector/Industry/Region with various analytics for the potential growth of the financials starting from a good interaction with different stakeholders

·       Responsible for system tie-out for final Budget at Sector/Industry/Region level.

Master Data

·       Provide guidance and support for accurate master data and alignment to DXC Standards for all running systems (e.g. Client/Offering Taxonomy, Regional Hierarchies)

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       SOX Compliance, Audit requests, Business Controls

·       Drive improvements in recurrent processes

·       Interlock with FP&A community for better understanding of solutions and other contracts setups

·       Drive for better accuracy and reporting

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

(Knowledge, skills, experience)

• In depth financial knowledge (finance policies, procedures, processes, tools) with preferably 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, especially in services / project business and/or commercial agreements.
• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics.

·       Excellent computer skills in general, especially Excel.

·       Able to work independently and take initiative.

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Good communication skills and very good prioritization skills

·       Ability to meet deadlines (handle stress associated with tight deadlines).

·       Flexibility with working hours.

·       International business exposure, working in a multi-cultural environment requires and global organizations.

·       Excellent team player in multi country teams with very good interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Fluent in English (verbal and written).
