Main Responsibilities Include
  • Prepares/assists in the preparation of budgets/forecasts/business plans
  • Follows the budget deviations and elaborates comments and analyzes based on them
  • Tracks cost evolution on cost centers and analyzes realized vs. budget
  • Works closely with budget owners in order to assure accurate cost allocation
  • Monitors and provides the analysis of monthly project expenditures to project managers
  • Gathers information for cost accruals and submits it to accountants for month-end closing
  • Supervises/performs verifications of documentation from suppliers (compliance with contracts, completeness of financial documentation)
  • Ensure quality control over financial & accounting transactions and financial reporting, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, financial instruments, fixed assets - including IFRS
  • Creates monthly, quarterly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
  • Prepares reports for banks and monitoring companies
  • Participates in the implementation of financial reporting systems in accordance with the legislative requirements and the needs of the management
  • Prepares reports and presentations including presentation to the board of administrators
  • Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Identifies areas of improvement to optimize the performance using benchmarks, group best practices and market practices
  • Identifies the main risks related to the operational activities of the finance function and proposes actions to reduce them
  • Provides support to external and internal auditors
  • Perform additional analysis of data, presentations, as required by the CFO

Requirements
  • Very good analytical and numerical skills
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Controlling or Audit (big 4 is an advantage)
  • Good understanding of IFRS
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate open and effectively on all levels
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong personal commitment, sense of responsibility and duty
  • Dynamic and proactive attitude
  • Independent working style
  • Reporting techniques (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Fluent in English
  • University degree completed.
