Events Manager (international/ regional markets)

A Bitdefender Events Manager is a strategic, smart, and driven person that can be focused to run the preparation and execution of the company events across all the region.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing end-to-end projects from budget allocation, concept development, logistics, messaging, communication to project follow-up;
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project;
• Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships;
• Managing supplier relationships; coordinate with purchasing department for acquisitions;
• Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently;
• Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team;
• Understand event cycles and management functions, including facility management, production coordination, room blocks, venue research, site inspections, and creative design.
• Travelling (occasional) to on-site inspections and project managing events;
• Delivering events on time, within budget; Budget follow-up for all projects;
• Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery;
• Provide event evaluation and recommendations for future events based on KPI analysis;
• Meeting the technical and logistical requirements;
• Coordination process with the sales/channel marketing team;
• Coordination process with travel and acquisition team; 

SPECIFIC TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3 years’ experience in events organization
• Self-starter who can think strategically and independently and also collaborate with others and work well in a team;
• Solid experience with event logistics with event planning and ability to drive and manage a client
• Multi-task and manage immediate, short-term and long-term projects simultaneously;
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without a reduction in accuracy or quality of work product
• Organize and schedule work effectively even under urgent timelines;
• Experience with budget management, financial tracking, contract negotiations
• Familiarity with corporate marketing, including market research, market sizing, pricing, and marketing communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced English Speaker
