Primary Purpose Of Position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key supply chain role that will oversee the company's demand planning process. Analyze and gather relevant demand data and translate this into a monthly demand plan (short and long term) that will enable the company to meet its sales and service level objectives.
Responsibilities
Responsible for collecting relevant demand data from Sales & Marketing (mid to long term)
Attend monthly Sales Review Meetings between Demand Planning and Sales & Marketing
Analyze historical data to continuously improve forecast accuracy (past sales, trends, seasonality, promotional activities)
Continuously review and improve forecasting techniques and Demand Planning processes
Establish best practices in statistical forecasting and usage of the forecasting tool SAP APO
Key driver for the monthly SIOP process - responsible for the preparation of the consensus demand plan as part of the monthly SIOP process
KPI reporting: responsible for monthly reporting of Demand Planning KPI's (forecast outlook, forecast accuracy, consensus demand plan, SIOP report) towards management
Communicate changes in the demand plan to management & Supply Control Department
Close collaboration with the Supply Planning team, providing valuable input in the ordering plans
Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering on best practices, working methods, supply chain optimization
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience with statistical forecasting techniques
Strong technical (user) knowledge of Office applications (advanced Excel capabilities)
Strong knowledge of ERP - desirable SAP
Preferably prior experience with SAP "Advanced Planner & Optimizer" (APO)
Experience with MRP functionality
Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
Education
Minimum/Essential:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, Logistics, Supply Chain or engineering
Desirable
Master’s degree in applied economics, engineering or similar.

2+ years related experience preferably within a supply chain planning environment
Desirable
3+ years experience in a Supply Planning environment preferably within spare parts planning
