Our client is looking for a : 

Country Health & Environment & Safety Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supports the Top Management in the HSE Policy and Mission Statement.

• Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE System.

• Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Corporate and Company Procedures.

• Takes lead in accident / incident investigation.

• Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.

• Carries out Life Saving Rules, General Safety, Fire Protection and Work at Heights trainings.

• Carries out safety audits (inspections) on offices and on Contractors.

• Performs Risk Assessment for office and site and their periodical updates.

• Implements measures to eliminate or minimize the risks.

• Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new offers.

• Provides Safety support and advice for projects.

• Provides preparation for external audits of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

• Registers cases into Bilfinger Database ACTIVE. Cases as HSE Accident, Near Miss, Audits, Inspections, Exposure values (Manhours), Environmental data, Company core data etc.

• Every Month sends Exposure values (Manhours) file to CEE Area Manger.

• Participates in regular LYNC CEE Area HSE Meetings.

• Follows CEE Area HSE Balance Score Card (BSC), KPI and CEE Area HSE Action Plans.

• Creates Safety Alerts on every incident.

• Distributes (if necessary also translates) Corporate and CEE Area Safety Alerts

• Creates and updates Site HSE Plan

• Runs Best HSE Initiative competition and other HSE contests.

Required knowledge and experience

• bachelor degree in architecture,
• OAR member with full signature rights,
• relevant experience in industrial buildings and general layout design;
• knowledge of most of the concepts, practices and procedures within civil/industrial constructions field;
• good knowledge of using CAD and BIM software: Autocad, Revit.

• wide experience in Romanian standards and norms

Core competences

• HSE Inspector on Site 80hrs diploma

• Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Incident Investigation, HSE Auditing Techniques.

• Good knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001

• Good knowledge of English.
