Our client is the world’s largest Peer-to-Peer Money Marketplace, a universal money translator and a global financial passport. Powered by people and blockchain technology, we enable value transfer between the underbanked and banked worlds on fair terms.

Our client s looking for an experienced senior accountant to oversee in finance department general accounting operations. We need a professional with inherent leadership qualities and the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate reporting in all areas.

Experience with cryptocurrency accounting or general idea how it should work is a huge plus

What You Can Expect As a Chief Accountant

• Provide click reports to partners, process weekly invoices using an in-house invoicing system
• Work closely with the controllers, accounting and finance product team for sources of data and information, including directly extracting info from our various systems
• Build on and develop technical knowledge and experience of different taxes and legislation across multiple jurisdictions in a truly global role
• Analyze scalable financial reports and forecasts by combining world-wide Paxful offices for various in-house departments and customers
• Resolve all customers queries both internally and externally in a prompt mannerWhat we are looking for
  

Requirements

• Experience in financial accounting software and preferably with ERP systems
• Ability to learn new systems quickly, strong computer literacy, take initiative and create solutions
• Confidence in dealing with people at management/director level
• Recognising the challenges that exist within a truly diverse workplace, confident personality, a flexible and mature approach, and the ability to cope with change
• Responsible for following and maintaining corporate accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Experience with cryptocurrency accounting or general idea how it should work is a huge plus
• Proven interest in learning about enterprise financials, taxation and keeping up-to-date with legislation changes
