Business Data Analyst

The After-Sales market is a crucial one for most car manufacturers, and Renault is no exception. This market provides our Group with the opportunity to increase its profits.

The Parts and Accessories Logistics Department (DLPA) guarantees the on time distribution of parts in the Renault network all around the world. The Business and Data Analyst contributes to DLPA’s performance through 3 main axes : support for the teams with analysis and interpretation of specific information (information on stock, quality of service, warehouses, logistic flows etc), transformation/evolution of existing tools to take advantage of information resulting from Big Data et operational maintenance of existing reporting tools.

Missions

Data analysis

• You will detect and interpret the dysfunctions based on data (parts not available, overstock, bad quality of stock, incoherent supplier orders, flows, warehouse operations, etc)
• You will find the good data sources and exploit them in dedicated environments
• You will evaluate and interpret data
• You will present analysis conclusions to operational teams, propose improvements and follow up on the implementation and effects
• You will take part in the implementation of big data DLPA (choice and prioritization of data sources to integrate based on operational needs)
• You will develop and improve new and innovating methods to present data
  

Tools and reporting

• You will transform existing reportings (Access/Excel) using Big Data in order to improve existing tools
• You will develop new reportings applicable to the entire DLPA
• You will ensure the operational maintenance of existing tools
  
  

Requirements

• Languages : English at an advanced level, knowledge of French is a plus
• Expertise in Excel (VBA), Access, Business Object, database queries, SQL, Python and R
• Knowledge of Spotfire is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, experience in creating reports and dashboards
• Organized, analytical and methodical, structured approach to work, attention to details and autonomous
• Strong capability to report clearly and pragmatically
• Direct experience in business & data analysis is considered an advantage
• Capacity to clearly and confidently communicate on new solutions based on facts
