Key Responsibilities

Innovative projects that deliver cutting edge results do not run themselves. Project and Program Management within Business Support ensure projects run seamlessly, from start to finish. Our team manages projects or leads others managing projects — ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders. We are a relatively small team, and you will be expected to lead all aspects of Business Analysis, as well rolling up your sleeves alongside the Project Manager and Team to ensure successful delivery;

• Plan, organize, conduct and document business information requirements gathering sessions with key business and project stakeholders
• Perform detailed analysis of requirements formulating operating solutions with the internal project teams and various business divisions
• Develop as-is and to-be process maps and data models to enable the development of solutions and setting of organizational responsibilities; Innovate – where identified champion new and innovative solutions to radically improve the current processes and customer experience
• Conduct Cost Benefit Analysis and benefit management activities and assist the business in the creation of clearly defined business cases in order to get a business improvement opportunity realized
• Work alongside the Project Manager and Project Team to achieve program timelines and goals and act as a point of contact for any business analysis related activities within the project lifecycle
  
  

Essential Requirements

• At least 5 years Business Analysis experience, working in a large enterprise environment with multiple data sources
• Ability in detailed analysis techniques with the ability to translate into comprehensive documentation which can be understood by Business and IT alike
• Strong business analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to perform meaningful competitive analysis
• Strong influencing, engagement and communication skills, with an ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders in a succinct manner
• Ability to influence others to achieve results and excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including strong requirement elicitation skills to a high degree of accuracy; Strong presentation skills and Excellent team player
• Autonomous – able to work with minimal direction to identify and resolve roadblocks and escalate appropriately to ensure program remains on track; Relationship Building - Ability to develop relationships to work with multiple levels within the organization, from VPs to agents
• Proven ability to build, motivate and co-ordinate the activities of virtual teams; Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement, including an ability to research industry best practice and apply to Dell processes
  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Primary Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or business discipline
• Preference for PMP or similar Business Analyst certification
• Able and willing to travel occasionally to support Program requirements
