The role

(Azure) Active Directory Engineer/Lead role involves optimizing Cloud and Active Directory services though a global outsourced model. This person interacts directly with Delphi Technologies’ managed service providers to build effective relationships and deliver quality results. This includes the following activities: virtual machine management, server support services, Cloud and Active Directory management, capacity management, service catalogue definition, and service level metrics and measures definition. The Cloud and AD manager will be involved in engineering, testing and implementation of Cloud and AD, as well as being involved with troubleshooting and analysis, adopting industry best practices.

Key accountabilities

• Primary responsibilities of this position are related to management of Azure Tenant, Azure Cloud services and Global Active Directory services being delivered by the service providers.
• Accountable for the ITIL processes and results related to IT Service Operations
• Responsible for establishing work rules and service goals for the effective, compliant, and efficient management of directory services
• Current environment is supporting Office 365 and moving towards cloud technologies. Person in this position will be working with ADFS, Azure-AD, AD Sync and ADMT
• Consult with the Supplier Management teams to provide feedback on supplier performance
• Perform lifecycle Systems Engineering for existing and new Directory Services capabilities on multi-forest multi-domain Active Directory infrastructure with more than 100 sites worldwide
• Maintain IT Configuration Management Database (Service Now)
• Support the Architect teams in the development of IT standards and strategy
• Assist in the test of various disaster recovery and business continuity/contingency plans.
• Defining requirements for Suppliers to ensure the effective AD operations

Skills & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other comparable education in the field of engineering environments
• At least 5 years of experience in application and solution development and engineering
• Demonstrable knowledge of the application development and test management discipline
• Proven specific knowledge of AD capabilities, O365 and Exchange
• Proven specific Azure AD, Azure Tenant, Azure IaaS and Azure PaaS services
• Hands-on experience with AD implementations including Security, AD FS, AD Trusts, AD CS and PKI, Azure AD services, O365 Federation Services, GPOs, SSO
• Experience developing/supporting Powershell scripts
• Extensive hands-on experience engineering/supporting Active Directory on Windows Server 2012 and in a global environment
• 5 + years’ experience with Microsoft Server and Linux technologies.
• Fluent in English
