Adecco Permanent Placement is currently looking for one of its client, a software FinTech company , located in Craiova, an:
Android / Java Developer
who possesses a passion for mobile technologies.
You will work with Android native code and help migrating the existing apps to React Native.
You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and the creation of quality products is essential.
Ideal candidate:
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· At least 3 years proven working experience in software development
· Good knowledge of Java Core
· Experience with Android SDK is a plus
· Experience with React Native is a plus
· Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs
· Experience with XML & JSON
· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
· Proficient in OOP, Programming Principles and Design Patterns
· Proficient understanding of code version control tools (Git, SVN)
· Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
· Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
· Participate in design and architecture of new products/features
· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
· Participate in sprint-planning meetings; ensure that the task assigned is well understood.
· Estimate assigned tasks and ensure the estimations are respected.
· Notify the Team Lead and product owner about unexpected issues occurring during development, delays, new requests, etc
· Facilitate QA testing: describe task and affected functionality, answer questions, etc
· Respect coding standards defined in department
· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
