Voice Service Design Engineer

Our Technology department is focused on Enterprise Product and Services, Infrastructure Management, Applications Operations and Customer Service Desk.

The Budapest based centre started its operation in 2007. Now it serves as a Financial, Enterprise, Business Intelligence, HR and Sourcing HUB, continuously focusing on supporting and improving processes in 29 countries and offering solutions to 150+ Vodafone Enterprise Customers.

Your day to day

To design & deliver, engineer & innovate central Voice platforms and network infrastructure to enable the best Consumer and Carrier services experience worldwide

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business

• Planning, design, delivery and testing of new platforms and services in the international voice environment (e.g. international voice network, central number portability solution…)
• Central voice Platforms and Services strategy analysis, definition and implementation (incl. new commercial or technology propositions and RFQ support)
• Platform Engineering and in-life management of existing central voice Platforms and Services
• Capacity Management and Delivery of central voice Platforms and Services
• Vendor management during new product development and in-life management.
  
  

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Deep engineering knowledge of Central Voice Platforms & Services and strong experience in design and management of distributed platforms and services (5+ years)
• Track record of capacity and release management incl. planning, delivery and reporting
• Knowledge of Vodafone’s organisation, infrastructure, processes and strong experience of managing international cross-functional teams in a virtual set-up.
• Persuasive communicator able to manage many stakeholders during demanding business impacting situations
• Familiar with operational processes incl. incident and problem management
• Degree in electrical / electronic / telecommunications engineering
• International exposure
• Telecommunications industry experience
