Candidatul ideal

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Transports or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Testing in automotive is a big plus.
• Experienced in understanding and updating of UML diagrams.
• Familiar with Software Testing Techniques and Procedures. An ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Worked previously with Vector tools, Product Lifecycle Management platforms, or Vehicle Diagnosis tools represents an advantage.
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
• Driver’s license minimum B category, more than 2 years, use a vehicle regularly
• Demonstrates an understanding of system architecture of a vehicle.
• Good knowledge about Communication Protocols used in Automotive (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet).
• Good understanding about the Diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control units (UDS, EOBD).
• Basic knowledge about vehicle systems and functionalities, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Break Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Door Modules, Lightning, etc.
• Basic knowledge about Software Testing Methodologies (Functional vs. Non-Functional testing), about Software Development Life Cycle and models (V-Cycle, Waterfall, Agile).
• Understating of pseudocode and simple schema with logical gates.
• Good client-facing skills, with experience in developing partnerships with the team and client and collaborating with others to exceed client expectations.
• Professional attitude. Has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor.
• Good problem solving skills has experience in proposing different options and solutions for approaching and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication skills. Adapts style accordingly and demonstrates an understanding of the audience’s perspective.
• Keeps up to date with emerging technologies and products and has awareness of opportunities these provide.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing of Test Procedures and Test Methods.
• Instrumentation of test properties as required in the test procedure.
• Study test plan details and consolidate a list of issues to be clarified.
• Testing and validation in accordance with the test plan, validation sheet, schedule and procedures.
• Alert during the test in case of unexpected results or difficulty that does not allow to finish the required tests in the validation sheet in time.
• Document the test results in the test plan template defined by the client.
• Provide Root Cause analysis and document issue with description readout, measurements, and log files.
• Finalize the test plan documentation with all required entries.
• Reviewing and distributing validation reports to the business manager.
• Provide notes and/or changes of the test procedures.
• Estimate own tasks & activities duration.
• Track own activities according to project plan.
• Analyse own test results for completness and correctness.
• Detection and reporting of errors / findings.
• Deliver test results, create reports on performance of tests.
• Know and apply the test process.
• Reviews, Project meetings, Team meetings.
