Tasks
  • Designing, developing and executing a software tooling platform considering a service based architecture
  • Providing architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our developer team
  • Overseeing progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
  • Ensuring software for our tooling platform meets all requirements of quality according to ISO 26262: security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
  • Defining all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
  • Ensuring troubleshooting code level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborating with international project teams

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent education
  • Several years of professional experience in (agile) software development, software engineering and full stack development
  • Good working knowledge of Python and Java or JavaScript, web programming languages are considered as a plus
  • Many years of professional experience with micro services as Docker
  • Several years of professional experience with data communication network technologies as RabbitMQ, REST API and WebSocket
  • Many years of professional experience with the application framework Electron
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Very familiar with continuous integration or deployment chains as GitLab
  • High quality organizational and leadership skills as well as a technical mindset with great attention to details
  • English language is mandatory and German language is considered a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • Willingness to travel
