Amazon Development Centre Romania is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the Customer Behavior group from Iasi. In this role you will manage high-impact, cross-functional, customer-facing projects within the analytics tools area. You will have the chance to contribute to projects that generate customer-related insights used by teams across the company for marketing and customer interaction behavior analysis.
The Technical Program Manager role requires hands-on project management skills in technical projects as well as excellent leadership skills. We are looking for a candidate who is exceptionally strong at maintaining the relationship between the development teams and project stakeholders in multi-discipline, technical project initiatives. You will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch.

Basic Qualifications
- BS or better in technical, science or business/financial disciplines or relevant work experience;
- Experience in managing technical projects related to software applications;
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for a vision/product and managing remote clients and partners;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making.
- Driving through ambiguous situations; comfortable working with high volume of information.
- Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- At least 2 years of experience as project manager or similar.
- At least 1 years of experience in designing or building digital consumer products.
- Experience in e-commerce retail industry is a plus.
- Experience in business intelligence/data analytics is a plus.
