Team Leader, Verification - Iasi 

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the testing activities of VS Team members, while providing direct verification support to Delivery Teams. Responsible for the onboarding, training and support of new team members. Daily tasks include the review and approval of test plans based on specification requirements.

We have Verification teams in Helsinki, Finland and Iasi, Romania. In Iasi our headcount sits at circa 30 people, headed up by the Director with two team leaders working directly under one team manager

Key Accountabilities

• Provides supervisory oversight to local team members on a daily basis;
• Responsible for creating, reviewing and maintaining training material for new team members;
• Provide line management to the team, ensuring that the necessary coaching and support is present and that any difficulties with performance is dealt with swiftly;
• Supports Delivery Teams by coordinating, planning and performing verification tasks;
• Works directly with software development personnel to deliver high quality software applications on routine and complex projects;
• Review and approve verification document drafts produced by the Verification Specialists;
• Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among users;
• Travel as necessary;
• Other responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems;
• Must have excellent testing skills and an in-depth understanding of the QA process;
• Proven ability in training / mentoring other team members;
• Able to accurately estimate task durations and meet delivery timelines;
• 3-5 years relevant experience in product testing;
• 1 years of experience in Automation w/ direct scripting and coding;
• Practical experience with any modern test, defect and requirement management tools;
• Highly collaborative, supportive and team player that demonstrates a proactive ‘can do’ attitude;
• Responsive, assertive and drive a continuous improvement ethos in all interactions;
• Ability to work in fast paced environment;
• Good verbal and written communication in English language.
