Job overview:

We are looking for an Windows Infrastructure Architect to join our Project Team, team whose mission is to deliver projects requested by our internal and external customers and, when necessary, offer 4th line support for incidents & problems of internal and external customers, assigned to you by 1st, 2nd and 3rd level engineer

As a member of the team, you will be involved in management activities of our customers IT infrastructures and the delivery of technical architectures and projects. You will need to ensure that you can organize and structure your own time and while collaborating with the other project members, deliver within the agreed deadlines.

 

What you will do:

  • Provide senior level Windows Systems Server systems setup, administration, configurations, and automated implementations;
  • Design and implement SAN and NAS solutions based on enterprise-class storage arrays;
  • Design and implement Virtualization platforms (based on ESXi and Hyper-V);
  • Design and implement monitoring solutions;
  • Design and implement patching solutions;
  • Design and implement VDI solutions;
  • Propose and implement solutions for automation of labor intensive tasks;
  • Participate in integration/transition projects;
  • Participate in defining and reviewing the technical aspects of the services we provide to customers;
  • Participate in defining the services for new solutions and technologies;
  • Interact with Customers in order to understand their needs and propose customized solutions;
  • Attend conference calls and meetings with the customers or their representatives in order to gather all the necessary information related to the project you are responsible of;
  • Follow-up activities for ongoing tasks;
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all your assignments (projects, tickets, implementations);
  • Maintenance of operational systems/resources at customer sites (Windows Server Updates, Hypervisor Upgrades, Hardware Upgrades, etc…);
  • Provide technical training for other levels:
    • When new projects/tools are integrated within Cegeka;
    • For existing tools/projects upon request;
  • Provide reports with possible enhancements regarding the clients’ infrastructures;
  • Create and modify technical procedures, manuals and processes for projects;
  • Create the technical documentation for all new Cegeka integrations (Server documentation, DLD, HLD, etc..);
  • Project member in ad-hoc project team as interim member of the Project Management Office;
  • Offer 4th line support for the engineering teams within CGMSC;
  • Timely update every support ticket assigned to your group;
  • Ensure qualitative delivery according to the release process and perform the necessary follow-up in a timely fashion;
  • Accurate ticket documentation of the support request and troubleshooting steps taken;
  • Deliver monthly Trend Analysis reports for managed customers (when needed);
  • Interact with the customer, by positively exposing Cegeka during the direct communication with customers;
  • Work in close collaboration with your colleagues and customer to ensure that service delivery is at the highest standard;
  • Work in accordance with the Cegeka quality standards, procedures, processes and internal regulations;
  • Attend trainings and team meetings;
  • Respect deadlines and procedures agreed at team level or with the customer;
  • Bring your contribution to ensure that the SLAs are met.

 

What you need to know:

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms;
  • Expert knowledge in working with and troubleshooting Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File & Printing, Storage Spaces, Clustering Services, Certification Authority, Terminal Services;
  • Very good knowledge of Direct Access;
  • Good knowledge of PKI;
  • Expert knowledge of WSUS and SCCM;
  • Very good knowledge of Azure IaaS & PaaS solutions; AWS knowledge is a plus;
  • Expert knowledge of virtualization platforms: ESXi & Hyper-V;
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration;
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Infrastructures;
  • Good knowledge of enterprise Antispam solutions;
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Sharepoint Infrastructures;
  • Very good knowledge of Office 365;
  • Good knowledge of Citrix XenApp\XenDesktop\PVS 6 and above;
  • Good knowledge of Citrix Netscaler;
  • Good knowledge of Profile Management Solutions (RES, AppSense, etc..);
  • Expert understanding of server hardware fundamentals;
  • Expert knowledge & experience with enterprise class storage subsystems;
  • Expert knowledge of at least one enterprise class backup system;
  • Expert knowledge and experience with enterprise class Antivirus products;
  • Excellent understanding of networking fundamentals;
  • Very good knowledge and experience with PowerShell & VBS;
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating Systems;
  • Experience with Microsoft SCOM is a plus;
  • Microsoft MOF, ITIL & Project management knowledge are a plus.
