We’re growing our technology development team in Cluj-Napoca and are looking for smart, passionate and collaborative software developers to join us. We’re offering the opportunity to help influence, innovate and design the way people will work in the future as the Team Leader of a team that is primarily responsible of the software maintenance of Mediascape Virtual PUCK and Room Wizard products from our portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

• You will supervise the Smart + Connected team in Cluj in terms of personal development, performance, motivation and recruitment
• Manage the workstream of the team, interface directly with Marketing teams, prioritize the work based on input received and be accountable for team delivery
• You will act as a coach and provide technical guidance for team members
• Participate in development work and manage the architecture of products
• Work in a matrix organization and make sure to work on team goals and objectives together with the functional leaders, report and escalate when needed to the appropriate leaders

• You have organizational and planning skills
• You are able to work with staff and other departments to resolve problems
• You are a good English speaker
• Occasional travel required

Required Experience

• You have a BA or BS degree or equivalent
• You have a Team leader, project leader, process leader, technical leader and/or 2-3 years of professional or leadership experience required
• You have leadership qualities consistent with organizational goals and company policy
• You have experience in functional programming
• You are familiar with technologies like: Clojure, Ruby, C++, JVM, Linux or similar
