About the Project

OneSumX Regulatory Reporting, as part of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services product suite, is delivering the processes, best practices, regulatory intelligence and analytics required by this highly regulated industry. Developed as a core application, this engine serves multiple country modules and help financial institutions handle the large data volumes that they will have to report to their regulators. It provides extensive analytics capabilities to help financial institutions spot any potential data issues and correct them before they are sent.

The goal of the current development program is to deliver a state-of-the art regulatory reporting platform, an in-memory scalable calculation framework that can be reused across our product portfolio, as well as adequate tooling for our developments teams and our customers.

From a technology point of view, we rely on multiple programming languages and well-established technologies for web. We use agile and lean software development processes that include continuous integration, automated testing at all levels and code review, all of this within a team with a high level of expertise in financial software development.

About the Role

Responsibilities

Testing:

• bug/defect tracking and reporting
• integration/ user-acceptance
• smoke
• sanity
• regression testing
• maintain and develop test cases and test scenarios
  

Test infrastructure: use the internal / Azure infrastructure and the different build configurations available in TeamCity

Non-functional testing process: build up knowledge of the performance, load and stress testing processes to ensure performance tests can be executed by the teams.

Test data process: improve the current reusability of test data, including customer data, by defining a global test data.

• Create test plans based on the project scope and prioritize test cases
• Manage test environments
• Adopt quality & testing processes from the QA team while providing feedback to leverage customer satisfaction and product quality
• Work as part of a team to define and scope user scenarios
• Work in a fast-paced Agile scrum team on all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Report, document and inform upon any issues that may impact the product development lifecycle
• Work together with different departments of the company

Qualifications, Skills, Behaviors & Attitudes

Essential Qualifications & Competencies

• University or college degree preferably in a technical field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in creating test cases and test plans based on project requirements and scope
• Previous exposure of working in a fast-paced development and delivery organization
• Fluent in English

• Experience with Accounting/ ERP applications or finance knowledge
