We are looking for a Splunk administrator for our Big Data & Cybersecurity SIEM team. You will have the opportunity of working in a high-specialized Splunk global team, offering state of art SIEM services to Atos customers. The selected candidate will provide overall engineering and design support for a very large distributed Splunk environment consisting of heavy forwarders, indexers, and search head servers, spanning security, performance, and operational roles. The Splunk engineer will support the full system engineering life-cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, documentation, and implementation following defined best practices and operational workflows.

 

Part of your activities include:

• Create / support creation of Splunk architectural proposals
• Build Splunk solutions from ground based on the agreed architecture
• Install and secure the Splunk solutions
• Connect data streams from various sources
• Provide technical feedback for continuous improvement
• Build dashboards, reports and alerts based on the customer requirements
• Develop custom security related queries and dashboards
• Interact with end users to gather requirements and translate them in action points
• Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity topics as solutions will be related to security events

 

 What do you bring with you?

•  Experience with Splunk
•  Linux knowledge
•  Python (is a plus)
•  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. German is a plus.
