Description

The Software Engineer is responsible of designing and implementing the software of embedded devices and systems used in Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software;
  • Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources;
  • Developing the firmware / applications for our own products, flow computers and RTU's (Remote Terminal Units) - all products are used into Oil and Gas industry;
  • Working into a remote team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, electrical or embedded software engineering is required;
  • Good Knowledge of writing, coding, and programming in C/C++ is required;
  • A combination of hardware and software would serve to be of great advantage;
  • Knowledge of Communication protocols like Modbus/DNP is a plus;
  • Linux/QNX OS knowledge is a plus;
  • PLC usage/knowledge is an advantage.
