We’re growing our technology development team in Cluj-Napoca and are looking for passionate and collaborative software developers to join us. We’re offering the opportunity to help influence, innovate and design the way people will work in the future as Software Developer in a team that is primarily responsible of the software maintenance of Mediascape Virtual PUCK and Room Wizard products from our portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will make the analysis and definition of the technical and functional specifications for the creation or change of programs according to the needs of the product
• You will apply IT technologies and other dominant technologies in the market to address opportunities or issues of the company
• You will apply appropriate methodologies to improve the efficiency and quality of the product
• You will build security and OS compatibility updates for the products in our portfolio
• You will also build new functionalities or tackle deprecation issues

Required Skills

• You have conceptual skills, analytical skills, pragmatism, critical thinking
• Good English skills both spoken and written
• Occasional travel required

Required Experience

• You have a BA or BS degree or equivalent
• You have experience with distributed systems over corporate networks, basic web stack knowledge and Linux familiarity
• You have minimum 2 years of working experience designing solutions with functional programming languages
• You have experience in using technologies like: Cojure, Lisp, Ruby, C++, JVM, Linux
• Would be a plus to have experience in working with: C#, Objective-C, JavaScript, Bash Shell Scripting or Video Streaming
