We at CRF Health are pioneers in digitalizing patient information collection in clinical trials. We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to strengthen our ability to design and implement modern Web and mobile applications in the fast-growing business.

The technologies used in CRF Health are Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Docker, OpenShift, Android SDK, Rx Java, Bluetooth & BLE devices and Samsung Knox to name a few.

Our R&D team in Iasi is growing and we are looking for a Software Architect for full-time position to strengthen Agile Scrum team development effort. Our platform is based on the J2EE architecture and most programming is done in the Java language, mobile applications have been crafted with Native Android.

You will work full-time in a dynamic agile team environment that provides continuous challenges and opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge in new areas. Your position will be based in Iasi R&D team.

Our TrialMax ® software platform is the market-leading eCOA (Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments) solution for clinical trials. Patients, clinicians and caregivers around the world use this platform daily to report outcomes in clinical trials by using mobile devices and personal computers. A key member of the Scrum team responsible for product component architecture. Performs product design, systems analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research. Performs bug verification, release testing and support for assigned products. May perform some on-site client work on applications. Operates under minimal supervision.
  • Is responsible for the design of overall system architecture including the internal architecture of a component, as well as communication protocols and interfaces to other components;
  • Performs code, design and architectural reviews to ensure implementation of architectural guidelines, as well as good maintainability and bug free implementation of the product features;
  • Performs product design activities which may require extensive research and analysis;
  • Performs design implementation, maintenance of multiple product modules and participates in product design meetings;
  • All members of the scrum team are responsible for unit testing and bug verification of the output of sprints and assigned products;
  • Researches problems discovered by validation or product support and develops solutions to the problems;
  • Expected to implement programming activities and some coding;
  • May assist in performing on-site client work on complex applications;
  • Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues;
  • Researches new technology or development tools to remain abreast of current technology;
  • Responsible for product’s usability by designing user interfaces, creating use cases, and implementing prototypes and conducting usability tests;
  • Prepares technical documentation of product, creates user interface guidelines and conducts reviews;
  • Helps and trains fellow developers to work with new product components / modules, to follow company coding practices and architectural guidelines;
  • Travel as necessary.
  • M.Sc/B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems;
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization;
  • Must be a team oriented person with a “can do” attitude.

Must Be Able To Demonstrate Experience Of
  • Leading a software design project;
  • Software development in Java environment;
  • Software architecture design;
  • Analytical and design skills at multiple product level;
  • Research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
