Supporting Automation Solutions, this role fits in as a key member of the European Digital Marketing team. The SEO Specialist is responsible for improving the performance of key content elements in localized websites across the globe. He/she reviews and implements changes to our websites, so they are optimized for most common search engines in Europe. This means maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines.

This position will directly update content and keywords to align with customer language, drive processes to operationalize through our translations library and collaborate with the SEO team, Digital Operations and linguistic reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Optimize content for strategic keywords and translation on localized Emerson.com sites to maximize search result performance in local markets.
• Leverage search analytics data within keyword research tools to gain understanding of most popular local terms.
• Update keywords and phrasing in the translations library to align with strategic keywords.
• Collaborates with English writers and local Subject Matter Experts to identify high rates of non-matching or fuzzy-matching translations and recommends writing process improvements.
• Reports results of localized keyword management, resulting website traffic changes and resulting lead opportunities for our top tier markets to Digital and Marketing leadership.
• Recommends process and technology improvements.
  

Qualifications

Requirements

• University studies;
• Experience in Web Administration, SEO, Web Analytics is an advantage;
• Proficient in English (spoken and written); Knowledge of German is an advantage;
• Good level of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Web Authoring, HMTL, CoreMedia would be an asset.
