Senior Crawling Engineer

This position will start you off in our crawling team. TrustYou is a big data company, and offers career development paths to learn writing and maintaining Apache Hadoop jobs.

What challenges await you?

• Scrape, transform and clean data from the web
• Maintain large SQL and NoSQL databases
• Write automation scripts
• Technical optimizations and improvements
• Mentor & Technical Lead

What do we expect from you?

• Engineering degree in Computer Science/ Informatics
• Web scraping techniques
• Experience with either Python or Javascript
• Experienced with the World Wide Web : HTTP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Fluency in English is mandatory

Nice to have

• High knowledge of databases, indexes, query optimization
• MapReduce/Hadoop experience
