Scrum Master - Data Warehouse

Responsibilities:

·       Evangelize Agile principles, approach and techniques to the team and Product Manager peers

·       Coach the team to become its best version on the path to self-organization

·       Serves as the shield of the team in regard to team boundaries, commitment and estimates

·       Removes impediments or guides the team to achieve this by finding the right person to remove it

·       Supports, builds or improves a great working environment where problems can be raised, concerns can be freely discussed and healthy debates come natural to the team

·       Facilitates getting work done, estimates become more accurate, performance and predictability growth

Requirements:

·       Technical background which means a BA or BS in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

·       Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 1 year for at least a software development team that was applying Scrum framework

·       Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership (facilitation, situational awareness, empowerement, continuous improvement, conflict resolution)

·       Experience with Agile techniques: continuous testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, TDD

·       Knowledge of Kanban

·       Strong time management skills

·       Highly organized and keen eye for details, can coach the team members to apply better Agile patterns and techniques

·       Ability to learn a lot and adapt while everything is changing fast

·       Able to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships at all levels.

·       Proficient in English

·       Previous experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or Data Engineer or software development in general is a plus

·       Scrum Master certification might be a plus. However your ability to empower people, be humble while helping the team to become self-organized is critical.
