We are looking for an IT Technician to be assigned to one of our most important customers, providing IT support to end-users within a multinational enterprise working environment.

Location: Targu Mures

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows and any other authorised desktop software / applications
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot End User Workspace Hardware such as Desktop, Laptops, Printers, Mobile Devices, Video and Conferencing
    Equipment and any other authorised peripheral equipment and devices
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on devices and software
  • Follow and execute instructions provided by Subject Matter Experts
  • Provide onsite hand and eye support to Customers
  • Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
  • Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner
  • Contribute towards reporting as per customer requirement

Required skills and competences:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the IT field or in a IT related area
  • Comprehensive understanding of full range of Enterprise IT Services
  • Detailed knowledge of installation and site environmental support solutions
  • Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways
  • Proficient Field Technical Support skill set
  • Proficient knowledge of common Operating System platforms, installation and troubleshooting skills (Windows, Mac OS – desired but not mandatory)
  • Good knowledge on Hands and Feet
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong Break / Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers and Handhelds
    Broad experience of IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers and Telecoms
  • Experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge
  • Knowledgeable of basic IT asset management concept (updating Asset Management system)
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English
  • Strong Customer relationship building skills
  • Proven capability in client management in the context of demanding service level based contracts with penalties associated with below standard delivery
  • Background security check required
  • Driving License

We are also interested in a Dispatch IT Engineer to be available to deal with different customers travelling in the area of Targu Mures.
