We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Regional Suppliers Quality Assurance based in Pitesti, Romania (E-Systems Division).This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international and fast growing environment, reporting directly to Senior Manager SQA.

The Duties Will Include But Not Limited To
  • Manage supplier performance; establish monthly worst supplier meetings to review supplier performance / lessons learnt
  • Conduct product and processes supplier audits. Detects and identifies non conformities and carries out improvement / corrective action plans to prevent future potential failures.
  • Support plant in the Customer APQP audits ensuring their requirements at sub-supplier level are correctly understood and applied
  • 8D’s support, assurance and management, improving quality and closure timing
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer quality requirements at sub-supplier level through the organization
  • Monitoring PPAP’s submissions and approvals
  • Manage and coordinate all components APQP activities among plants
  • Monitor current SQA tools usage and procedures fulfillment
  • Active role in new Supplier decisions done by Supplier Development: Audit & Selection
  • Support and Review Chargebacks
  • Pre-audit suppliers to evaluate performance and fulfillment of Lear requirements to be part of LEAR suppliers portfolio
  • Audit suppliers on site for main quality issues and capacity checks supporting and complementing plant SQA’s for current product portfolio
  • Assure escalation process through executive summaries. Raise the alarm when there is a risk for LEAR or/and Customer satisfaction or/and internal roadblock
  • Support plant SQA responsible or Quality Managers as escalation point in case of red flags or Customer demand
  • Builds up, improve and sustain Customer/LEAR satisfaction based on good relations with key Supplier people
  • Act as a link with other Central departments (Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, etc.)
  • Develop and update internal standards and procedures to cover and support all the SQA activities
  • Responsibility for a compliance of LEAR Quality Policies as well as International standards in the región


Required Skills

A track record of success working in international automotive companies is ideal, preferably with a background in a manufacturing environment.

It goes without saying that you should have a methodical approach, effective communicator, to have problem solving ability and to be able to work under pressure.

Ideally, you’ll have a University degree in Engineering field and knowledge of:
  • MS Office
  • English advanced level (both written and spoken)
  • French language medium level (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistic Process Control)
  • MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
  • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
  • FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analyses)
  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
  • Fishbone Diagram, 8D
  • 5 WHY
