We are in position to offer a great job opportunity joining an experienced Continuous Improvement Team as Regional Continuous Improvement Coordinator based in Pitesti, Romania (E-Systems Division).

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international and fast growing environment, reporting directly to Regional Continuous Improvement Manager.

Key Activities Will Include
  • to lead the correct deployment and the correct CI mindset and culture in the Europe and Africa Region and to support/attend/supervise major projects focused on MOS metrics and waste reduction;
  • support “One Lear” by ensuring Best Practices are shared across regions, divisions and functions and driving team work between plants;
  • review in a monthly basis the CI projects planned in a document called CI Roadmap of each of the 3 plants to verify the plant is executed based on the plan and that the savings are what planned.
  • coordinate the project assigned to improve scrap rate
  • identify and prepare the business case of one idea that will help the plants to be more close to the Industry
  • identify 1 project or initiative per month that has the potential to be rolled out in the 3 plants
  • prepare every quarter the assessment for the best plant or Terminal and Connectors evaluating the criteria shared by Corporate


Required Skills
  • Engineering or technical degree with at least +5years experience in Industrial environments (preferred automotive)
  • Manufacturing and/or Operations experience requested (+2 years)
  • Accredited LSS Black Belt, Lean Sensei
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English, with an ability to negotiate and mediate effectively
  • Able to work in a collaborative, global environment
  • Influential leader with proven coaching and mentoring expertise
  • Demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement
  • Availability to travel in Europe or Africa when needed
