Requirements
The role is responsible for planning, supervising, checking and finalizing the new look and feel projects, new investment projects, building repairs inside Emerson Cluj Campus, according to the FM Global, Emerson and Romanian Legislation rules. Works together with the projects teams.
Responsibilities
- Being permanently informed and assimilating the parameters and the technical rules to accomplish new projects and maintenance and repairing work;
- Making sure that the quality parameters for the specific work procedures and technological instructions are being followed;
- Solving pressing issues during non-working days or after the normal working schedule (for exceptional cases);
- Having a proper behavior in the relation with customers and suppliers;
Specific responsibilities: - Responsible for successfully implementing the project’s activities according to the requirements;
- Proposes, selects, adapts the project’s regulations and methodology to properly run the project;
- Supervises weekly how the project runs and administrates the project’s team (contracted suppliers);
- Participates in different meetings and all the project’s events, preparing them properly;
- Ensures a proper communication, discussions and feed-back among stakeholders in the project;
- Prepares detailed work plans (execution schedule) and supervises their implementation;
- Makes sure the project runs within the established parameters (timeline, technical requirements, cost, quality standard, insurance standards, legislation standards, etc.);
- Identifies, analyzes and monitors the risks;
- Organizes the project acquisitions (selecting and contracting the suppliers) and prepares the contracts for being signed;
Administrative responsibilities: - Offers support in drafting the commercial contracts;
- Checks the reception notes, work sheets, and invoices from the suppliers;
- Inventory all the new equipment from the organization and labels them with a received number or code;
- Fills in the Internal Acquisition Forms and gets their approval;
- Prepares the specific instructions for the work place.
- University degree in construction engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar function with project coordination responsiblities;
- Previous experience in relation with contractors and subcontractors;
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and planning skills;
- Knowledge about MS Office package, Autocad, internet, email;
- Languages: English – Advanced level;
- Availability to work in weekend.
