Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on global business services or shared service operations. Logistics background is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading a team;

  • Previous experience in process management and proven track record in process optimization projects / continuous improvement;

  • Very good skills in process management methods (Lean/ Six Sigma/ Kaizen etc.), deep understanding of process design, process mappings and process evaluation;

  • Very good know-how about Finance and Accounting processes and operations;

  • IT affinity and experience in digitization and process automation technologies;

  • Intercultural knowledge and sensitivity as well as strong service culture and customer-oriented attitude;

  • Good know-how in MS Office (Excel, Power point) and specific tools for mapping of processes;

  • Willing to travel overseas for training and/or review meetings;

  • Very good communication skills;

  • Fluent in English (German and other languages are a plus).

Your tasks

  • Achieves individual and team objectives set by SLA (Service Contracts) and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and implements improvement, correction and prevention measures for the emerging situations;
  • Improves processes in terms of efficiency by means of Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean or similar methods in alignment with SGBS Service Centers (e.g. leading of workshops for identification of improvement potential and initiation of according improvement projects);

  • Standardizes and re-engineer’s processes as well as their interfaces according to overall process model and design of Finance and Accounting;

  • Redacts process costs (incl. process times) by streamlining as well as applying automation, RPA and other IT tools and evaluates alternative sourcing options;

  • Reports, implements and monitors process-related KPIs/process heat maps; initiations and reports improvement measures and their progress if KPIs are not met;

  • Drives extension of optimization scope to further processes where feasible (e.g. suggesting adjustments of process splits);

  • Shares/know-how transfer with SGBS Service Centers and with Process Owners of Finance and Accounting;

  • Process implementation according to process design determined by Global Process Owner / Process Owners of Finance and Accounting (including documentation, process mapping) and, where mandated, end-to-end (outside SGBS) in collaboration with respective Process Owner of Finance and Accounting.

  • Drives ongoing reporting and partners with global team on process and reports enhancement and capability development;

  • Continuously monitors and drives compliance in processes and ways of working and ensures key controls are in place and reported regularly;

  • Ensures there is a high level of quality being delivered to all business units;

  • Manages the resources within the team and develops effective working relationships;

  • Participates continuously in training sessions and organizes and holds trainings for the team members; Participates in operational meetings with management team;

  • Independent communication and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Plans the holidays, verify and approve the attendance sheet every month for his team;

  • Performs the annual/ biannual evaluation for the members of his team.
