What will make you a successful DevOps Engineer at Waters:

Proven Experience Of The Following Devops Skills

• Provisioning to both windows and linux environment
• Configuration Management and Infrastructure as code for for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment
• Infrastructure orchestration and deployment of applications on private cloud . vCloud and public clouds . AWS/Azure
• Ansible
• Experience with creating custom vm templates for windows and linux via packer
• Vagrant
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Powershell/bash
• Also important to the role is:
• The abilty to communicate clearly and collaborate across different levels of the business and global locations
  
  

The Following Criteria Are Desirable

• Build tools integration . Bamboo/Bitbucket
• Build configuration as code for bamboo or another CI tool that can be replace bamboo if needed
• Gradle
• Linux admin skills

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with software engineering to help deliver software increments for Informatics Applications. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. And troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments
Continual learning, to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in software development and DevOps.

As a Team Member You Will

• participate in all team meetings and ceremonies in direct collaboration with other sites, provide input and feedback, take ownership on identified improvements
• actively participate in learning and sharing activities either during informal or formal training and demos
• demonstrate continuous technical improvement
